Meet Shannon

Shannon brings a wealth of netball experience, skill and passion to Emeralds, making her a valued member of our Jewels team and the wider club. Having played representative netball in her younger years, Shannon brings a strong understanding of the game, excellent court awareness and a competitive spirit that shines through every time she steps onto the court.

As captain of our Jewels, Shannon plays an important role in bringing the team together. She leads with confidence, determination and encouragement, helping create a positive environment where her teammates feel supported and motivated to give their best. Her leadership reflects her belief in teamwork, commitment and the importance of supporting one another both on and off the court.

Shannon's contribution extends beyond her role as a player. In 2026, she returned to umpiring, bringing confidence, skill and a strong understanding of the game. Her ability to make clear, considered decisions and approach each game with professionalism has made her a valuable addition to our umpiring team.

Whether she's leading the Jewels, stepping onto the court as an umpire or encouraging those around her, Shannon brings experience, dedication and a genuine love for netball to everything she does.

We're incredibly fortunate to have Shannon as part of Emeralds. Her leadership, passion and willingness to contribute make her an important part of our club and the community we're building together. 💚
