Wherever you’re coming from, we want you to feel welcomed, supported and excited to take the court in Emeralds colours.
Every netball journey looks different. Come and find your place with us.

JUNIORS | AGES TBC
A supportive team environment where junior players can develop their skills, build confidence, strengthen their game and enjoy playing alongside friends.
INTERMEDIATES | AGES 13–15
With teams across different divisions, players can build their game, challenge themselves, grow as teammates and work towards achieving their netball goals.
SENIORS | AGES 16+
Across six competitive divisions, senior players can find their level, enjoy the competition, build connections and be part of a great team environment.
It starts with a run on court, a few new faces and the chance to become part of something special.
Before the season gets underway, we’ll hold Come & Try and Team Placement sessions to give players a chance to get on court, meet our coaches and other players, and enjoy a run with Emeralds. It also gives us the opportunity to see players in action and get a feel for positions, experience and different combinations.
For our Intermediate and Senior players, team placement is about making sure every player has the opportunity to enjoy their netball, feel confident on court and get the most out of their season. We aim to place players in divisions where they can contribute to their team, build on their strengths, challenge themselves and continue developing.
When the level is right, players have the opportunity to play their best netball, enjoy their achievements and keep growing throughout the season.
Our goal isn’t simply to fill teams — it’s to create balanced teams and positive playing experiences, where players can take the court feeling confident, supported and proud of what they can achieve.
Whether you’re new to the game, returning to netball or new to Emeralds, it’s a relaxed way to meet the club, have a run and find your place for the season ahead.
